Growing up with a Holocaust survivor taught me how truly cruel people can be, all people not just Nazis. Holocaust denial is impossible for me because I’ve known so many victims of genocide. Russophobia is horrifying too. How people can have so much hatred for people they don’t even know is alarming. I’m proud of my Soviet Jewish upbringing. I’m not ashamed of my Russian name. They are great people who gave me a secret Bat Mitzvah, probably one of the handful of times I actually had a birthday. No, I’m not adopted, life is much more complicated and complex than many can fathom. High key, I kinda only like them & my family at Chabad, honestly once they pass away (if I don’t die first) the world can end as far as I’m concerned.

They did nothing wrong, only restored what was stolen during 500+ years of genocide.
